ALDF - Not your typic lawyers.

The very first time I went there to clean their carpets I was in for a little surprise. I met the office manager on the fourth floor on Taylor Street. She greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed anything. I said no, but that I needed to go downstairs to get my gear. With that she got up from her desk and headed toward the elevators with me. About half the office followed us. This wasn't too surprising since it was five pm on a Friday. I assumed they were all headed home. So I go out to my van and they all follow me and stood around my van. To be honest, I didn't know what was going on. So I asked, "is everything okay?" And She said, "oh yes, the last guy who was here had a lot of equipment to carry up. We thought we'd help you carry all the stuff up." I couldn't believe it, here I am the "lowly" carpet cleaner with a group 5 or 6 lawyers offering to help me carry my gear on a Friday evening. I was stunned.

It was one of the most pleasant jobs I've had in a really, really long time. It was wonderful to be treated so well by such warm and sincere people. I am grateful that so many of my customers fall under this category.
